In Colorado, Residential Habilitation Services under the Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver offer 24/7 support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Host Home Model:
Individuals live in the private home of a contracted caregiver (Host Home Provider) who offers daily support, supervision, and integration into family and community life.

Individual Residential Services and Supports (IRSS):
This model provides flexible living arrangements, including Personal Care Alternative (PCA): Small group homes with 24/7 staff support.
​
Family Caregiver Setting:
Individuals reside in their family home with a trained family member as the paid caregiver.
Independent Living: Individuals live alone or with roommates, receiving tailored support services.
